*For Insulated and covered strand Cables Only.* The Klein 1659-5AT is designed to pull 1/4" figure - 8 telephone cable. Plus, it s equipped with a chain, toggle and shackle to keep the grip from falling off the cable. All Klein grips are manufactured from drop-forged steel that is machined and heat treated for excellent durability. Each grip is individually hand inspected and actuated for proper function. Grips are also rigorously tested and pulled to rated load to ensure the highest and reliability.
