Manta Ray 50233 SG-2, a 33" Drive Steel Extension is a
patented design made of high performance materials. It allows the anchor to be driven to depth in discrete increments
to allow installation in tight spaces while the operators remain safely on the ground. The anchor is threaded on both sides to accept a coupler for further length. The SG drive steel uses a partial left hand thread that allows very efficient impact energy transfer from the jack hammer
to the anchor. All joints should be lubricated with light oil or spray lubricant prior to assembly. After installing an anchor
the drive steel joints should be cleaned of dirt which will enter the couplers during driving. Failure to clean and lubricate
the drive steel and couplers will result in premature failure.

PISA® Anchor Rod 1" X 7' 36,000lb Tensile Strenght

Chance introduced this system of utilizing the power of digging equipment to install screw anchors. The system consists of a screw anchor, anchor rod and a special installing wrench. Each anchor has a galvanized steel threaded anchor rod with an upset hex; single or twin helices and a galvanized guy wire nut which is screwed to the anchor rod end. PISA anchors can be installed in a matter of minutes.
